Aow Leuk & Hin Ngam

Yellow-box-fish

Located at the South East corner of Koh Tao, these 2 dive sites are ideal for the Discover Scuba Diving program, Open Water program or divers just wanting a shallow relaxing dive.

Aow Leuk is a shallow bay which starts more or less off the beach which is ideal for those who have never tried Scuba Diving or want to refresh their skills after a long time out of the water. With a maximum depth of around 12 meters this site has many colourful hard and soft corals with an abundance of juvenile fish. Following the reef you will find lots of hiding places for Porcupine Puffer fish as well as Blue Spotted Stingrays.

Hin Ngam is only 750 meters south of the bay and has a maximum depth of around 18 meters. Again being on the shoreline of Koh Tao the corals in the shallow water are very colourful which attract many different species of fish to the site.

With Blue Spotted Stingrays, Yellow Box fish, Harlequin Sweetlips and large shoals of Yellow Tail Barracuda, there is lots to see at this site, and on occasion you may even come face to face with a Hawksbill Turtle, a favorite for any diver.
